Cuisine

Did we say superfoods? We meant it. There is nothing like the food in the jungle. Its locally grown, fresh from nearby tree or farm, and cooked to enhance natural flavors.

You will never eat so much, and feel so great, as you will on the traditional diets in the jungle. Cuisine is typically a womenโ€™s art in the zone, so you will also be supporting womenโ€™s economies and local agriculture.

Be sure to compliment the cook (we do). Youโ€™re going to need local foods with higher nutrition and better quality to support all your jungle hiking!

If you like cooking then we can arrange a day with a local cook to see how food is sourced, processed and turned into delicious meals over a wood or gas cookstove.

Our jungle culinary experience is more than just foodโ€”it's a cultural journey. Each dish tells a story of generations, of hands that plant, harvest, and cook with love and ancestral wisdom. Youโ€™re not just tasting a meal; you're participating in a sustainable and empowering practice that uplifts local women and communities.
