Traditional ceremony.

Access traditional ceremonies with our Indigenous partners.

We partner with licensed taitas (shaman) in Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecuador to provide traditional ceremonies to visiting ecotourists.

We strongly believe that it is impossible to understand Indigenous-led conservation without also understanding traditional ceremony. Traditional ecological knowledge is inextricably intertwined with plant medicine. People who authentically administer plant medicine are also the strongest conservationists in of Nature, and in most cultures authorized to represent the needs of Nature in human interactions.

Savimbo is transparent about being aligned with, founded by, and working for traditional medicine doctors around the world. When people visit our sites, we can refer them to local lineages who are traditionally trained for authentic experiences of connecting to Nature in this way. Our charitable arm helps communities with land rights, literacy, and living conditions.

All the partners we refer to have been trained since childhood in traditional medicine lineages. They are part of a living network of authorized providers and provide medicine legally in their traditional territory and governance zones.

We specialize in biodiverse ecosystems, protected fairly by locals, and conscious travel. It’s important to us that travelers prepare adequately to have a meaningful experience of connection, cultural exchange, and direct connection with Nature, which is awesome! We 💜 ecotourists!
